Dear visitors,

Unfortunately, we have to warn you that the name of Irish Culture Events and our personal information such as our names, address and phone number (which we are legally obliged to provide in our “Impressum”) are being used in an eBay Kleinanzeigen scam – possibly on other online platforms as well.

Sales ads for various items are being published under one of our names and buyers asked to transfer money to an Irish IBAN in advance. As soon as they have made the transfer, they never hear back from the “seller” again. For your own safety, please follow these steps:

1) The scammer or scammers are using various email addresses with the domain Please note that we only have ONE email address, which is events.irishcultureevents.COM. Please don’t open any emails from an address ending on – they are fake addresses! Instead, please forward them to us without opening them. We will in turn forward them to the police department in charge of the case.

2) We are a booking, event and promotion agency, and we aren’t selling any goods on ebay Kleinanzeigen or any other online platforms. Under no circumstances and at no time will we ever ask you to make payments without sending you an invoice. Also, our bank account is in Germany, not in Ireland. The IBAN used by the scammer(s) is an IE IBAN.

3) If you see an eBay or Kleinanzeigen ad using our data or receive e-mails from anyone pretending to work for Irish Culture Events, please contact us immediately. We’ll forward any information to the police department processing our complaint and provide you with the registration number it’s being processed under if you want to file a complaint of your own – which we strongly advice you to do.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this abuse of our brand name and our personal data. We are taking the situation very seriously, and we kindly ask for your support in identifying the individual(s) behind this.
